Teresa Giudice and her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga of The Real Houswives of New Jersey are trying to follow in the footsteps of former New York Housewife Bethenny Frankel by launching their own alcohol brands. “We’re starting a new business with wines,” Teresa told the New York Daily News. “It’s a Bellini and it’s going to be called a ‘Fabulini.’ I’ve got a raspberry and peach. It’s Prosecco wine, peach puree, and raspberry.”
Gorga is launching a seperete line of champagne.“It’s called Magnifica Giornata and it stands for ‘magnificent day.’ It’s like a motto, ‘Every day’s a magnificent day,” she said.
The name is quite cute but there is still a big question as to whether Giudice and Gorga can reach the level of success of Frankel. She just sold her Skinnygirl brand in March to Fortune Brands for a reported $120 million and Forbes named her one of their top celebrity entrepreneurs.
Giudice has already had some entrepreneurial success with her cookbooks Skinny Italian and Fabulicious!: Teresa’s Italian Family Cookbook. Skinny Italian sold over 100,000 copies. Teresa told The Miami Herald she wants her own cooking show now. In that case, I am going to need a very big glass of Fabulini.
